Natures Playground

Where to start is difficult. There is just so much to see and so much to do.

Fiordland is a huge National Park  located near Te Anau. 2 Hours or  171km from Queenstown.

Fiordland boasts two of the tallest waterfalls in the world, namely Browne  and Sutherland.

In Maori it is referred to as Piopiotahi and was a great source of  seafood and a rich hunting area. It was a place only visited for this purpose and for collected prized Greenstone or Pounamu. Few resided here.

Fiordland is an outdoor paradise with everything covered.

Rafting, Jet Boating, Diving, Boat Cruises, Scenic Flights , Hiking and Cycling. The only thing missing is you.

Towns to stay in are Manapouri and Te Anau, but my advice is to book Motels in advance because it can be difficult to find one on the day you want it. I have had that problem. But don't panic as you can stay a little further afield and spend a day travelling in and enjoy the most incredible scenery anywhere in the world.

This is one place you need to google in advance because the choices of what to do are endless and you don't want to regret it later.
