Rere Rockslide - Gisborne
The Rere Rockslide according to "Stuff" is the best free fun experience in New Zealand.
It's about 40 minutes drive west on SH-35. It's famous in New Zealand and you can use a boogie board, a mattress or just a sheet of cardboard to slide down it.
There are picnic tables and toilets, so suitable for the whole family to have a day out and lots of fun.
